The Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ITT) at Cologne University of Applied Sciences is a proud host and co-creator of this seminar. Our aim is to enable people of various technical and cultural backgrounds to better solve the complex issues related to environmental problems. By pursuing an interdisciplinary and intercultural approach, we offer high-quality programs at postgraduate levels. Studying at the ITT does not only mean obtaining a master’s degree or participating in the doctorates program but going beyond one’s professional and personal limits. Through manifold training and modern methods of teaching and learning, we put the concept of lifelong learning into practice and put the student at the center of our educational efforts. Our alumni go on to become important parts of the global network of scientists and professionals.

In addition to providing teaching, research and capacity development worldwide, we also cooperate with major organizations on a regional, national and international level in a variety of fields including resources management, development co-operation, and higher education.
